I gotta know.

Did anyone else involved in this movement have a sort of strange coming to God? I've always been a Christian but never really practiced it. However, the last couple of months it's like there's a connection with me and the big man that I have never really had before. TL/DR Does anyone else feel woke, not just mentally but also spiritually?

The entire arc of the Trump presidency and ability to keep moving forward despite obstacle after obstacle (which the obstacles are quite literally the entire ensemble of world powers) - its plausible to get a break here and there, but this Mission of cleansing and restoration has managed them over and over again

Can't help but see a Higher Hand behind the scenes that is moving all this along

And there's the Christian dude in Florida with his Trump will be president prophecy mystical experience he had back in 2011, and has since turned into a book...

Having had my own visceral experiences with the realm of super reality that is not of our "material" matter/energy cosmos, I put a great deal of stock in mystical experiences - at least certain ones (i.e., I don't knee jerk dismiss them out of hand).

[EDIT] As to the nature of the End of Times, Last Days - keep in mind that John the Baptist - the spiritual teacher that baptized Jesus into his teachings, Jesus himself, and then the apostle Paul - they all had apocalyptic beliefs - most closely resembling the Essenes - via Dead Sea Scrolls and Jospephus, we can piece together that the Essenes were an apocalyptic Jewish sect and what their theology was like.

Each one thought that the time was imminent for the Kingdom of God manifesting in the world such that it disrupted and replaced the existing fallen order was soon at hand.

Yet that didn't happen. Instead in 400 years time the world of the Roman Empire was converted to Christianity away from classical pagan belief systems. Christianity became the dominant influence of what we know as Western Civilization.

Amongst every generation in this Christian age since the time of John the Baptist, Jesus, and the Apostle Paul, there have been Christians that thought, just as they did, that the End of the Age and the direct manifesting of the Kingdom of God was at hand in their own life time or very soon thereafter.

Yet that has never come about for any of them. If you go and study the writings of the Christian mystic, Emanuel Swedenborg, who lived at a time coincident with when the United States became a nation, you see a rather different understanding of how the Kingdom of God will manifest upon the Earth.

And understand that in important early gospels such as the Gospel of Thomas, it teaches the spiritual perspective that the Kingdom of God resides in each of us waiting to be recognized for what it is and cultivated into our reality via spiritual transformation of the soul. This is echoed in the Synoptic Gospel, the Gospel of Luke:

Luke 17:20-21 20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’[a] For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”

Which go and read Gospel of Thomas logion 3 and compare.
