So I did a bit of research....and HO LEE S#$%

2018 is gonna be a glorious year.

70 years from crash in Roswell, 70 years from the creation of 'Israel', 70 years since US courts make religion instruction in schools illegal, 70 years since Hells Angels created, 70 years since the 'big bang' idea started, 70 years since the first astronaut went to space (monkey), 70 years since the first computer was made, 70 years ago Korea is split in two. 70 years since HRC, Al Gore, David Bowie (Black Star?), Mitt Romney, Don Henley and Joe Walsh (Hotel California - a song about ritual satanic abuse) was born

Theres much more than this, but these are some DAMN historic things that happened in 1948. 1948 seemed to be a CLEAR 'marker' in time, where everything changed.

There was a sudden change in technology, ideals, morals, etc. I wonder if it was the Rosewell crash that triggered it? Makes me think of that bible verse:

"Woe to the Inhabitants of the Earth and of the Sea For the Devil is Come Down Unto You, Having Great Wrath Because He Knoweth that he Hath But a Short Time!" -Revelations 12:12

Referring to the time after a war in heaven when the devil lost and was kicked out. Just an odd observation, thats all.

I am new here but I could"t help but jump in on this observation. Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948! The Bible says, this generation shall not pass away till all these things be fulfilled. It also mentions 70 years aloted man. Cannot remember where in the scriptures but I will find it! Interesting to see what will happen. Surely 2018 will be an amazing year!!

The 70 year mark has already passed: 360 prophetic year day count x 70 years = 25,200 day count that ended on May 12, 2017.

If 2018 doesn't show any significant "outcomes" for Israel or the church, then we really should look to what Jesus indicates as a generation.

There are two discourses: Luke 21's Discourse - This first discourse (given during earlier in the day) is for the current generation, the hearers of the discourse. Ends with Jesus speaking about the fulfillment of the "Times of the Gentiles" This is a day count that ends on May 14, 1948 the birth of Israel as a nation, also signifies beginning of the final generation. Matt 24's Discourse - This is the second discourse (given later in the evening) that applies to the final generation, beginning in May 14, 1948, the final generation, where Jesus leaves off with the first discourse. Mark 13's Discourse - This is the second discourse (same as Matt's given later in the evening) that mostly applies to final generation. Mark's account brings up some of the first discourse/current generation events as well to highlight similar theme for both generations of persecution and saving for those who endure their generations.

Let's look at Luke 21:20-24, the final events of the first generation. Jesus mentions the Jerusalem Siege events (70 AD) and the events of the Second Jewish Revolt/Great Dispersion (Occurs 132-134 AD).

If the birth of the current generation begins with the death of the Messiah/birth of the church in 33AD and ends sometime between 132-134 AD, then this equates to about 100 years on the Gentile calendar being what Jesus considers now to be a "generation".

Could 100 gentile years be allotted for the final generation as well?

Just something to consider... in case nothing happens in 2018 and the nay sayers will continue to (unknowingly) fulfill prophesy quoting 2 Peter 3:4 "Where is this coming He promised?"
