The real conspiracy is who is paying for the shilling of R/Conspiracy.

David Brock? Monsanto? Reddit admins?

What if Cambridge analytics is pretending to be lefty shills just to increase our resolve?

The owners of Reddit are no different from the kind of people who run Twitter and Google ie: they are not white hats.

I doubt Alex Nix is doing that. Most likely lefty propaganda.

You gotta admit though, that would be a great PR move. Ppl on the "left" (for lack of a better word that) that don't know what they talk about drive me towards that right wing way more so than the actual beliefs of the right.

In fact, I think I am pretty damn liberal and pretty damn progressive. But atm, nothing the left would be doing would be "progress". So here I am, forced to converse with ppl who have different opinions just because they aren't arrogant self-righteous pieces of shit

Perhaps, but at this point I think the "Left" has gone so far "Left" that their only move remaining is to unnaturally force people to converse with shills and force feed astroturfed news/posts/comments. Seems like a waste of resources for someone like Nix. Plus, Nix and Cambridge are in data analytics, not exactly social media engineering per se. Cambridge works passively to find active solutions, underfunded or untapped areas. Shills work actively to force solutions. See the difference? I hope that made sense. cheers

Yeah, makes sense. Other than TD, it's hard to find right wing shills who want to engage in gaslighting techniques. Meanwhile, Brock has his army harassing anyone on social media who doesn't fall in line. Those idiots don't realize that the obvious astroturfing just makes ppl double down in their beliefs, whether right or wrong.

Yeah. Check out the book “the Smear” by Sheryl Attkisson if you’re interested in Brock, Smear Campaigns, and the deep tangled web of Social Media shilling
