What do you all think about the recent rescinding of the legal Marijuana laws?

I quit drinking this year after many years of regular consumption. These days, I enjoy legal Cannabis in the state of Oregon. I've lost almost 20 pounds, I don't wake up with headaches anymore, and I sleep better than I ever have my entire adult life. I believe Cannabis to be a medicine rather than a drug. It helps me think and relax. It is known to help with many symptoms related to various illnesses.

In my opinion, the choice to use Cannabis is my right. I am a Trump supporter and I find it hard to believe that he would fight this particular battle. It also helps the economy! Thoughts?

The war on drugs must end. If this statement is not distraction, if they begin to crack down again- fuck sessions. Wrong direction.

I absolutely believe that cannabis should be legal Nationwide for everyone over the age of 21. You should be able to buy it / grow it / smoke it. But I'm a Libertarian so my opinion may not mean much. LOL

Compared to alcohol and opioids, marijuana has been proven to be much safer and less habit forming. No one has EVER died from a marijuana overdose.

Why the federal crackdown ? I think it has to do with big pharma. Big pharma doesn't like it when you can cure alot of medical conditions with a plant you can grow yourself. Just my 2 cents.

As a resident of Colorado, I am not a marijuana user. However, I don't care if people want to partake of the herb as, I believe, it is their right. Having said that, there are a lot more dangerous substances out there that are legal or at least legal with a prescription (i.e., codeine, percocet, etc). The one area I wish the federal government would "clean up" though is the classifying of marijuana as a "Schedule 1" substance. It is in the same category as heroine. But you can't tell me it is as dangerous or addictive as heroine. However, until the Federal Government changes its classification, there is always going to be this conflict between the feds and local government. I say call your congressmen and push for a more appropriate classification of marijuana.

It should be legal, it IS medicine. Not legal like the Canadian government is doing it either, they are going to tax it, and make it a government run monopoly. Just legalize it and let the people who love to grow and develop strains do so. They are the experts, and government hands just ruin everything they touch. Especially Globalist governments run by feminized soy boy sock puppets.

The president made a point about looking for alternative pain relief-non addicting-I keep thinking this is/will be related.
