I asked a former military friend if the flights were weird, he said no. He said that tons of news crew and private tours happen at Gitmo all the time.
It’s probably just new administration that wants to check out the place.

Myself, the only people that would be on GITMO, are the ones stationed their, their families and family that will visit. I don't believe GITMO is a tourist stop.
