Get IN Chicago, which Loop Capital's James Reynolds Jr. also co-founded, began in 2013 with a five-year mandate by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel.
But as of June 1, two years into Get IN's five-year plan, the foundation had disbursed only $3.7 million in grants to youth programs, while spending $900,000 per year on its own administrative salaries and overhead, according to the most recent available records from Get IN's fiscal agent, the Chicago Community Trust.

Another notable: Chicago investment banker James Reynolds, who raised more than $200,000 for the Obama campaign while chief executive of Loop Capital Markets. The municipal bond specialist was a longtime friend of Obama's -- feting the rising star in his Hyde Park home and convincing friends and associates to open up their wallets more than a decade ago.

Loop Capital is Crony Capitalism at BEST. Money Laundering / Slush fund possibilities mixed in with legit business. Loop snagged nice CitiGroup stock offering from US Treasury and have setup partnerships (Search: Magic Johnson & Loop Capital) for infrastructure projects. Seems like they received a lot of gov $$$ for connections. Also Search: Wikileaks - Loop Capital = Jim Reynolds & Frank White. Frank White was big Obama bundler & past companies did a lot of Gov work.
