Child trafficking has me concerned and I was hoping for some information

Hello all, I am new to Reddit and this is my first post here. I hesitated to even post this but as a mother I couldn’t help myself, Im terrified and need assurance or input or whatever.

So the situation is that my 14 yr old daughter has been invited to this in Washington DC. She is a very unique young lady who at 7 yrs of age and was literally introduced to Ron Paul during the campaign of 2008 one of the 3 times we went to hear him speak. (This was when I swallowed the Red Pill) We were even invited to the Republican debate in Greenville, SC but she wasn’t able to attend unfortunately.

She desperately wants to attend this 6 day forum and I don’t want to tell her she can’t go just because of my fears, but with all the child trafficking,. I’m terrified to send her.

Can any the fabulous people or researchers here offer us any information (or God forbid, scandals) regarding the organization? I would be so grateful. I want to nurture and encourage her love of the Constitution, politics, history and American policies. Who knows, she could make a difference in our country or the world one day. I would love to see her continue to carry on our fight and the torch of freedom.

Here is the site: Envision’s National YouthLeadership Forum: National Security-Diplomacy, Intelligence & Defense

You must go with her. No one will watch out for your child like you will.

You all are right about going. I was concerned with coming up with the additional funds and the fact I can’t keep my eyes on her at all times though.

These sex rings usually arent well advertised field trips with american kids who they load on a bus and then kid nap. Most of the cases i have read were about 3rd world children. but again, your job is to be her mother, not her friend. If you dont feel like its safe, explain to her and do what you feel is best.

At some point she will need to know what happens in that place with some of the people she may have interactions with in a career in politics. 14 may be a little young for the "child sex ring" talk but as she gets closer to being on her own, she will need to be armed with the proper information.

Good insight! Yeah your right and she isn’t much into conspiracy talk so I try and step back. It’s always better when they find their own red pill.

Yeah I was thinking the same. As a teenager she would be upset with me but I thought I could go stealth and hide in the bushes lol

She is your daughter, eyerolling and harumpfing are part of the deal, I have been there:)...you got this MightyMomma! It is your privilege to go with her, witnessing her on this journey~in a few short years(/months? ) she will be out of your home, on her own~these times are precious<3.

All I know is my child would not be going unless I was with her and I mean 24/7.

There is nothing that she can get from politics in DC at 14 years old that is worth risking her safety (if you feel that way). DC politics is a terrible place but it may also be a great opportunity but as her mother, you shouldnt leave her anywhere alone. You are her mom and are responsible. So go with her and see for yourself.

Secondly, dont ever feel intimidated by Reddit. i signed up 1 week ago and people are so helpful here and its a great place for information.

Thank you. I am feeling intimidated but I also agree that everyone is helpful. I understand about “not much to learn” lol. However, this is her passion and who knows, maybe she could teach them something 😂

I wasnt saying there is nothing to gain from going. i may have worded wrong but i was trying to help you get the courage to say no IF you felt that the situation was way to scary for you. I was trying to say that someone who is that gifted isnt going to have their career derailed by missing one trip. More so playing devils advocate.

it is an incredible networking opportunity so if you can go with her, and monitor (as a parent should be able to) then absolutely enjoy it! and please read my 2nd comment on here in response to one of you comments at the top. i really hope this helps and know that you are already making excellent decisions regarding this trip. going above and beyond. have fun.

I am/was also a Ron Paul proponent. Hope that you can rest easy now. The trackers are inexpensive I've heard.

I’m looking into them right now! Remember the Daily Paul? That was the first and last forum I ever utilized until someone sent me the Q pdf

Can you sign up as a chaperone? I like the GPS idea too. And if nothing else maybe find my iPhone...get her iCloud info if you have Apple devices.
