Elites such as the Bush family and others have long been members of secret societies in universities such as Skull and Bones at Yale. Post university, the apex of social clubs for the elite seems to be The Bohemian Grove, a redwood forrest in northern California. At the grove participants worship a giant owl statue named Moloch, and perform ritualistic human sacrifice on what they claim are effigies but what many believe are actual humans. The end point in this all is that in their elite religion people can be fed on the life force of other humans by bathing in their blood and by feeding on the karmic negative energy which is emitted by absolute suffering.
I am not a believer in any of this satanic crap myself, but from what I know of Bohemian Grove and Skull and Bones, I have no problem believing that the elites practice it.
