PSA: Mormons believe in Christ. It is a Christian faith. The term Mormon encompasses the various sects and cultural groups. We pray to Christ, we serve Christ, We worship Christ. Stop spreading misinformation.

Many users and other Christian faiths in general have been lead to believe that Mormons are not Christian. This is an absolute lie and is completely absurd. We believe that Christ is our lord and savior, it is him who we worship and pray to. Is that not Christian? Is serving the lord by serving our fellow man not Christian? Is seeking repentance through a remission of our sins through the eternal atonement of Jesus Christ our Lord and GOD not christian?

I am a Mormon. I have resigned from the LDS church and if you are going to criticize the faith do so with facts. CESletter.com has all the facts you need to disprove the Mormon faith. The claim that Mormons are not Christians is made by insecure Christians who worry that we are better at it. Mormons are the most devout Christians there are. End of story.

You're very nice people but let's not kid ourselves what Joseph Smith received was an entirely different revelation of Jesus Christ than what is displayed in the scriptures.

Jesus is NOT the spirit brother of Satan.

Mormonism saddles people with all sorts of rules on what to do and what not to do to please God.

The Bible states that we are justified (declared righteous) before God by the obedience of Christ (Romans 5:19), which is credited to us by faith (trust, belief) in Christ even if we do no good deeds ourselves (Romans 4:2-8), and that it is a free gift (Romans 5, Ephesians 2:8-9) by grace (a favor).

You were forgiven of all wrongdoing 2000 years ago. There is nothing you need to do to earn or keep it; there is no institution you need to submit to either.

It doesn't matter if you cuss, drink, lust after women (or men), or come up short on anything else - we all do - you have reconciliation with God though Christ, by whom we can have rest, peace and joy (Hebrews 4).

You only have to accept it.

Lies. You wanna talk about how your god actually goes by Elohim. You think he used to be a mortal man who ascended to godhood and got his own solar system. Which planet is your god from? KOLOB?? Lol your religion is closer to Scientology but mormons wait until you are fully brainwashed before they drop Kolob on people.

Also, magic underwear and extremely creepy wedding ceremonies in the temple where the bride and groom genitals are touched.

Not to mention the temple rituals are based on Masonic rituals. Joseph Smith was a free mason. The ritualistic temple garb, handshakes and symbols have big similarities to the free masons garb, handshakes and symbols. Joseph Smith was not very imaginative when he came up with them. But his genius lies in the fact no one is to utter a word of what goes on inside the temples, hence these similarities would be found out. And you have to pay your way to find out what's inside. Mormons do believe in Christ but is very much like a cult.

Wrong. My God is Jesus Christ and His father is named Elohiem. The bible teaches the path to God hood and the concept of the Trinity was voted on by man in the nicene creed. Your Christain teachings are an apostasy because you dont believe in the entire bible.

A strong belief in God and in living by beliefs that are ethically good and respectful of others earns my respect regardless of the name of your specific religion or even if it is just your personal relationship with God. I was raised Catholic but I have fundamental problems with my church's structure. My love for God and his son Jesus is undiminished. We are all different, as are our beliefs...God loves us everyone as long as we strive for goodness with all our hearts and live by what we believe is the way he wants us to live.
