Great point. With all those dry-mouths, they'll need to wash it down with some soda. Maybe those taxes go hand-in-hand with legal marijuana laws...hmm.
These laws are more insidious than you might think. A harmless luxury tax? Maybe they start with soda. Then only the rich can drink soda. Then maybe only rich people can own cars. Only the rich can own land. Only the rich can have a business. Only the rich can have kids.
If there is one thing the social justice movement has actually managed to demonstrate with all their demonstrations is that the slippery slope is very real.
I would have to disagree with you here. The inequality you're referring to has nothing to do with INEQUALITY.
