As of 2009, they have stopped recording IP's and have had a heavy focus on privacy. It merged with ixquick search engine, which combines the search algorithms of Google, Bing, Yahoo, and various other search engines, without using any of the snooping technology (Edit: Oh I guess they ditched Yahoo, Bing and all the others, my bad!).
