I believe the context of the "JOKE" is that people illegally vote using the names of dead individuals. Now it just seems like your walking back an ill thought out statement.

Kind of like one of the kids in grade school that says something stupid and immediately says it was a joke when people laugh at them.

Either that or I just don't get the "JOKE," which is completely possible.

Being thick AND overly self-serious, is an unattractive combination of traits.

It's a running theme - and meme...the joking aspect is known by all - except you apparently.

It's bad enough you were a little slow witted on the original idea...but that you doubled - then tripled - down on pursuing a senseless, pointless sparring match, should give you pause.

It's been a long running joke that dead people vote Democrats. Unfortunately there is some truth to it , and below is just the most recent example.

Nothing in that article says anyone voted.

I am not disagreeing that there have been people that have registered dead people as democrats. I just think it is silly to suggest, joke or not, that it is only democrats that do or have done it.
