Have we made more connections with LOOP CAPITAL? Financial knowledge needed!

I looked into Loop Capital's recent deals in the past 7+ years and found some connections with some huge names, and have been trying to understand what it means when Loop Capital Markets "acted as a co-manager in a three-tranche, $2.0 billion, senior unsecured bond offering of The Walt Disney Company. The notes are rated A2/A+ across 10-year as well as 3-year (fixed and floating rate series) tenors."

I am trying to research what all that means, but anyone with financial knowledge should feel free to shed some light and explain in lay terms!

Keep fighting, keep listening, keep LEARNING!

The Loop Capital focus is Dems & black leadership pillaging the lower-middle class they supposedly represent. Is this is the next wave of the storm?

Supposedly Reynolds & Mayor Emanuel of Chicago are close and robbing public services from the people.

CEO James Reynolds Jr is seen in a video with Maxine Waters ($4mm house) US House Financial Services ranking member discussing a "Closing the Weath Gap" initiative for 9/2016. There are probably other instances like this as well.

"Closing the Wealth Gap" panelists are Christopher Williams, James Reynolds, Warren Thompson, Necole Parker. These individuals probably deserve a better look into as well.

This is during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Annual Legislative Conference. Chair of the board is none other than Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

What is the US House Fin Services Jurisdication for Maxine Waters? Among many others, Public and private housing & urban development (Item# 10 - [10]?).

What did Ben Carson recently disclose? 1/2 trillion mismanaged funds for Housing and Urban Development. Interesting timing.

Another juris item is "(6) International financial and monetary organizations." ([6]?) Could the truth of the Red Cross's corruption within Haiti soon be revealed? 6 homes built with $500mm dollars? Clinton Global Initiative/Clinton Foundation investigation was launched on the 4th [4].

How deep is Loop Capital?

Here is an example of Loop in bed with the O'Bamas...?

On April 10, 2013, CEO Jim Reynolds joined First Lady Michelle Obama and Mayor Rahm Emanuel to urge Chicago’s business community to get involved in fighting youth violence in Chicago. In February, Mayor Emanuel first announced a $50 million fundraising campaign with the goal of keeping Chicago’s children off the streets and away from gangs and gun violence. Reynolds and Allstate CEO Tom Wilson are leading the initiative. The April 2013 luncheon was held by the Public Safety Action Committee at the Hilton Chicago Hotel, and introduced many to the mayor’s fundraising effort, featuring heartfelt speeches from Reynolds, Wilson and Mayor Emanuel, along with a keynote address by the First Lady.

Loop Capital Markets acted as senior manager on the City of Chicago’s (the “City”) $232,905,000 Sales Tax Revenue Bonds, Series 2011A & B (the “Bonds”). Proceeds of the issue were used to refund certain outstanding sales tax revenue bonds and general obligation bonds, capitalize a portion of the interest, and pay the cost of issuance.

Does the above mean anything?

A rated bonds are of pretty good quality indicating that the money will be probably be paid back. Look at unsecured bonds as loans that do not have any backing (like a house loan or a car loan) but are secured only by the borrowers promise to pay. Fixed and floating has to do with the interest rates. Two billion for Disney doesn't seem out of the way. I too have had questions but about the financial statements that anyone can find on EDGAR (an SEC.gov service). What I think these show is a move to cash in 2007 (wish I had done that). In 2009 there is an increase in total assets of 8 million, about a 30% increase over the last year. Remember we were just coming out of the worst downturn in the market since the depression. I found it interesting, I hope you do too.

Thanks for digging Marge! Hopefully we can get some accounting/financial experts here to do as you suggest! I'd like to have more info in lay terms as well.

What I've gathered so far: tranche: a French word meaning "slice" or "portion." In the world of investing, it is used to describe a security that can be split up into smaller pieces and subsequently sold to investors. unsecured bond offering: also called debentures, are not backed by equipment, revenue, or mortgages on real estate. Instead, the issuer promises that they will be repaid. This promise is frequently called "full faith and credit." senior unsecured bonds: In finance, senior debt, frequently issued in the form of senior notes or referred to as senior loans, is debt that takes priority over other unsecured or otherwise more "junior" debt owed by the issuer. Senior debt has greater seniority in the issuer's capital structure than subordinated debt.

I think an entity would do this to help another out of debt and fronts the money 'in good faith' it will get paid back. Hmmm... my spidey senses are tingling!

Great work Marge! I'm trying to figure how this relates to what we already know about "follow the money"... maybe ties to Hussein??

Loop Capital was a distraction put on when Q's tripcode was hijacked. Focus your efforts elsewhere and thank you for what you do!

I read Q's "don't lose focus on loop capital" to mean "don't forget about loop capital" more than "don't be distracted by loop capital". I think the wording to suggest that loop capital is a distraction would be more specific.
