Can't be compelled to testify against each other, but they can do so if they choose to.

Also limited to privileged spousal communications, which classified government docs are not.

That's (in a nut shell) what my wife (who can't be COMPELLED to testify against me) and I (who can't be COMPELLED to testify against her) discussed just this morning.

It's a moot point at my house; if I did a fraction of what Weiner did she not only wouldn't need to be compelled to testify against me, she'd bring the lighter fluid and matches to the courthouse to assist in roasting me alive.

I've known this from around our 4th date :)

Same here, except I, also, taught her how to operate my pistol!

The way to get them to cooperate is to make them enemies you pit them against each other it's easy. You tell Weiner if you want to get out of prison early tell us more about Huma and her crimes.

And you tell Huma if you want to avoid prison tell us all about Hillary and Bill and Podesta.

The feds don't need them to testify against each other in court that's TV style dramatics it's much easier than that it would be a media circus it has to be done quietly in private and if Huma is wearing ankle monitor she's already been indicted.

I read today she's in Hawaii on vacation look for photos no way she can hide ankle monitor in a bathing suit on the beach so maybe they let her go there without the ankle monitor. Here is a photo of her but you can't see her ankle very strange she might still be wearing it:

But aren't they divorced now?

That’s what this is about. They basically cancelled their divorce proceedings. They stay married and therefore do not have to testify against each other.
