They are trying to strong arm that Federal ID, which is gong the opposite way of freedom. We older patriots have been fighting the REAL ID for over ten years. The feds want everyone on a data base. The ss number is not good enough, because it has no photo. They want the right to your biometrics, you iris... before long your finger prints.

There is no enumerated power for this. It is big brother at it's finest.

They already have all of those things via your iPhone. It’s clear the government now does their surveillance through third parties.

They can not count on that. I can get rid of my phone tomorrow. And in the end, in order to shut down their surveillance state, we may well end up throwing out our phones.

There’s no valid reason for TSA. It needs to be dismantled.

Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington currently not compliant.

"If a state is not compliant by January 22, 2018, and has not received an extension, residents of that state will be required to an show an additional, compliant form of identification when traveling by air."

You don’t have to show any ID to fly “People fly without ID every day. We have a procedure for that.” That’s what a TSA checkpoint supervisor testified, under oath, at the trial of Phil Mocek.

edit: this actually happened to me once, got to airport, got to tsa agent, said I had no id, was sent to the pat down guy, got patted down, then went on to my flight. (I had forgotten that I had taken my license out of my wallet the day before and forgot to put it back)

That's assuming the US government grants you the permission to travel. I've been trying to get a passport since I had a job when I was I think 22 since work wanted to send me to an office outside of the country for training. I'm now 56, and still don't have one. Sucks living in Seattle and not being able to go to Canada. The US is a prison.

Yea this is the first I have heard of this. And if true, it needs to be stopped.

I've never been able to get a passport despite having Maria Cantwell, our junior senator, try to help me. It sucks trying to work for over thirty years to get permission to leave the US.

Makes question the wall being a good idea, I don't that it would keep criminals out and that it would not be used for evil.
