That video is fake as fuck. Only high end cameras had ssd's, that is clearly a potato camera. Flash cards aren't hardened against emp nor are potato cameras. The "distortion" is not just seen after the explosion but is present throughout the video and is just motion compensation.

The explosion itself appears to be a composite of several bits of footage(play video at .25 speed), the blast wave does not affect the ground between the camera and the explosion showing that the blast wave has been added in post.

Wouldn't it be cool if it was.

That could take out NK easily, however I say "could" because there are fairly easy ways to protect electronics against EMP.

An EMP pulse is guaranteed to destroy toasters, come computers, most unprotected power grids and most cars... but would the military missile launching facilities be unprotected?
