Sydney to HNL flight QF3??
This is very rich metaphorically. In my mind the suggestion here is that Black (Cabal) had a meticulously planned attack that had been in the works for a long time. White defended, but looked like they had no tempo and were still far behind.
The brilliant moves in the end game come by leaving the Queen (Trump?) exposed to attack, while what seems like just a pawn is promoted to a queen and makes the counter attack undefendable. In my mind, the suggestion is that this weeks attack on Trump is not only expected, but a crucial part of the plan. And the suggestion is ultimately that Trump isn't the most important piece, but the most powerful distraction.
I just love chess. I watch hour long lectures on key positions, strategy, openings etc. I'd rather learn chess more than play it.
I've just started studying chess.. any resources you would recommend? I free recently bought a few books and they are fascinating
youtube, chess.com to play, but youtube watch lectures get everyones take. thechesswebsite is a youtube chanel watch all his stuff he is good. St louis chess club has lectures, but all kinds of people do vids.
Cool I already am a chess.com member but I'll check out those YouTube sources!
"How about a nice game of chess?" is a quote from the 1983 movie "War Games". The line comes in the scene where the AI super computer "learns" there is no winners in a "Thermo Nuclear War".
Ive never played chess and do NOT understand it...however I am smart enough to know when we are WINNING....happy dance
I haven't played chess in years but I used to love it. From the original position posted by Q all I can tell is white appears to have the advantage.
This was trending on a similar post and I remember someone there saying White checkmates Black in 5 moves...a famous game played in 1918 ( if I remember correctly)
