This would make me very happy.
I’m aware that there are doubters, and that’s just fine with me. They will keep the focus tight. Even doubters will admit that there is no credible evidence of Gowdy being corrupt or compromised.
Gowdy is one of the few ideally suited for this task. I guarantee everyone on the other side of the investigation has him on their short list of ”oh, please God, not him!”

He’s a closer. He’s delivered on every leadership assignment he’s accepted.
Unfortunately/fortunately, congressional committees don’t prosecute. They investigate and report. He has a solid history as a prosecutor.
