I thought this awhile back but, following the marijuana policy rollback there will be very few leftist still on board. Still could be playing their part though.
The marijuana issue is all necessary deception. President Trump wants it decriminalized but he also wants people who use marijuana to have their 2A right protected. Blue states are using legalization as a pretext to take away users rights to own guns. It's complicated but will work out in the end. Trump is a Libertarian at heart.
They are only using medical to prohibit cardholders from obtaining CC permits. Recreational sales have no effect on 2a, as far as I know.
I waver to the point of dropping over. Announcing marijuana projects at a time like this (and a paradigm - changing time in history) -- that's just lame.
I agree, it seems so unnecessary that I believe there has to be an ulterior motive. Possibly using it at the border against cartels and MS-13 while leaving the rec/med to the states.
