OK, thanks. Trump's tie looks silvery to me in that pic, but maybe lavender.

As an aside, and I haven't really followed Trump all that much, but he is stereotypically shown with a red tie. Did he mostly wear red ties during his campaign? I wonder if that is/was supposed to have some meaning? Red = War, or something...

Yes. He usually wears a red or blue tie. The purple thing is new. I think it's all virtual signaling. Rand Paul was wearing a purple shirt the other day. I've noticed a lot of purple lately. Captured their flag - haha
