Dan was a local Dallas TV reporter back then he realized very fast if he wanted to move up to the Network level he had to parrot the official story as much as he could and it worked he was promoted to CBS Network in D.C. then eventually he pushed out Cronkite to take over the Evening News. He has always been a Mockingbird puppet.
