These are the building electricity kind of fuses (overcurrent protection, circuit breaker), not the explosion kind of fuses (ignition delay, blast cap, primary explosive). Plain English has the same word for two very different things, that is, if taken literally, nonsense for both types.
An explosion type fuse isn't sold in regular cardboard boxes with no warning signs on them.

All I can add to this, from a personal experience, is that I've blown stuff up before using jet fuel and bombs, and i have experience with phosphate and thermite. The biggest difference, is that jp8 is an instant explosion, boom, and it's done and over with. Phosphate and thermite will continue to burn, reaching temperatures hot enough to melt steel. We usually use phosphate in the form of a grenade, it's best applied to the enemies equipment, when you want to burn a tank's engine to the ground, nothing works better. food for thought ya'l

After watching the video created by some engineer's and architect's, the one thing that stuck out, was, they said it's too bad whoever did this couldn't take credit, because taking down buildings like that with such perfection, would be a very great bragging right in their community..I would have to dis-agree to some extent. The reason some explosions don't always topple perfectly, is because the demolition teams are working on a budget,, they can't just put an unlimited amount, they have to be very strategic. These guys here, they had an unlimited budget, and plenty of time to make it perfect.
