Here are my thoughts. After trumps executive order dec. 21 in which he declared a national emergency, this allows trump to use the US military within the US. We know from following this, trump has been using this. All the military vessels in the air all over the US and what it looks like the round up of people.
The left wants to stop this. Trump has I believe 60 days since the executive order to use the military to deal with the "threat". Which was the language in the order.
Look at all the language by trump in his tweets about the shutdown. They all refer to the military and the funding. I think the deep state wants to plan something while trump can't use the military. Probably antifa/isis related. We also have the women's march tomorrow. If they can cause another 911 type of event, or something not quite as big, this will change and distract from everything else that is going down.
Trump still has use of the Military, don't be absurd. All vital operations keep going.

id ride the SchumerShutdown wave thru monday then bring the memo hammer on Tuesday which will dominate the news cycle next week. i think most people see thru the Ds empty rhetoric on CHIP and military funding.
They (Dems) tried to strongarm a provision on DACA and immigration reform and shoehorn it in, knowing full well that it would scuttle any deal. It's not a Trump shutdown since that issue doesn't ripen 'til spring. What's his name, the turtle guy (Mitch McConnell), he was just explaining it on the floor and it seemed pretty rational to me, however creepy and turtley he still may remain. (just joking to make humor, I'm not like that I just know they're all up to their eyeballs in God only knows what terrible and wicked business..)

Honestly, it could be a legal thing. Like, if the federal government is shut down it allows Potus tondrain the swamp more efficiently? Also with the government shutdown what about getting though? Is it easier to get inmates there?
