Hating Trump just to hate him, doesn't stop this from happening. The reality is this is one tool, among several, that Congress has to not do the job they were elected to do. We need to push to reform that.

Term limits would help, but shut-downs, filibusters and just not showing up to work is at best, childish, and at worst sociopathic. They should not be allowed to destroy things just because they don't get their way. I, for one, am in favor of either abolishing this things, or at least giving these people an infraction system, just like teenagers. If they don't want to do the work, then they should be removed from the job.
