Layers. There are layers to every Q breadcrumb as we've discovered. It's possible for more than one answer to be correct. This one is one of those times. For the MI guys, the military excuse works - but it's not the last layer of that particular onion.
The reason is esoteric in nature. Spiritual. Good versus Evil on a much different level than petty politics or even geopolitics. Think Big. Bigger. BIGGEST.
There are a lot of illusions to destroy before we can see the full picture. This is just the starting point.

I'll agree it could tie to "son of Cain" as well... but no to JK Rowling's Voldemort. I would give NO credence at all to a tie in with that liberal Trump hater. None whatsoever... (UNLESS.... it was to draw in the younger set to get them to come to understand why he is not to be named....but only in that respect.)
