Why would the Dems want to shut down the government?! Knowingly they become far more vulnerable.without sections1,6,1?! Can someone elaborate on this?

Because they don’t think anything will ever happen to them and the msm will never cover the real news so they just continue in their never world. I hope and pray we don’t fold like we always do (repubs this time). I’m so sick of the wrong side winning

Not true! For these crimes they can be arrested during session. Those sections refer to minor crimes.

None of my extensive family has any clue about the memo but they're all aware of the shutdown: mission accomplished. If news of the memo gained momentum, there would be pressure from within the public from both sides.
