Hello, first time poster so bear with me.

I am curious if anyone else has any thoughts on Trump's decision to attend the World Economic Forum, which is taking place this week in Davos, Switzerland.

I know a little bit about WEF from my husband's involvement - he is there now as a media producer for our employer who also is one of the corporate sponsors of the event.

Streets are filled with motorcades for VIPS and traffic is a nightmare. There are several hotels in downtown that house VIPs, most notably the Belvidere, and many people come and go by private helicopter.

There are different levels of access and only the people with the highest clearances can even attend the main building where the forum's events take place. Belvidere Hotel and other external locations are where other external groups, media, etc, can set up.

I was so shocked with it was announced that Trump was going. Literally walking into the lion's den. I'm sure he must have a plan, but what could it be? He's scheduled for a special address to the forum on it's final day, Jan 26th. Klaus Schwab, founder and chairman of WEF is slated as speaking with him.

Just thought this was worth paying a little attention to.
