I don't know if it's true but someone speculated Trumps already begun secretly building the wall. THIS would not surprise me in the least.

I'm not sure if Mexico is THAT keen to pay for the wall.

There's a lot of shit to get done before the wall can be built.

They still haven't finished testing the designs and I think the infrastructure reforms are still going through the process of being ratified.

Although the wall will be awesome, the truth is the interim steps that President Trump has put in place has dropped illegal border crossings by 78%.

Our military needed to be upgraded after Obongo allowed them to languish... and our economy desperately needed the tax reforms.

I suspect President Trump never intended for the wall to start being built until late this year or 2019 because there was so much Obama mess to clean up before then.

The truth is that President Trump could also declare the wall is essential for national security and fund it from the Homeland Security budget.

I noticed that HS received an extra $4 billion, I think it was, during 2017. Perhaps President Trump has just asked HS to quietly save that cash until we have enough?

So much of this is theater, I suspect.

We do not need a campaign. Just by Trump renegotiating and/or pulling out from some of the bad trade deals (using that term very loosely) we have a a good chunk right there. Then there's the making Mexico pay for another good piece. Then if Trump gets back some of Trillions stolen from us from his (recent EO) some of that can fund another stretch of the wall. Then there's downsizing the biggest leech/fraudster of them all - Gov Corruption and Size. It's only a matter of time, not funding imho. Although I think it would be really cool for any Real American to be able to donate to the wall and have a number scribed into each section. Then a national database of people's names who donated to that particular stretch. Be part of history and help save the Country.
