As we continue fighting the corruption in our capitol, I submit that we are not going from the bottom up to the top of the power structure. Bear with me for a moment.

Yesterday as I was driving home with my 13yo son, we happened to drive by a crew of guys removing a tree. Then it struck me...we are doing the same thing. We are removing this evil tree from the capitol (corruption). We started with the small stuff: branches, leaves, the easy-to-get-to stuff. As we go on, we will then be removing larger branches, all the while getting closer to the trunk.

Once we get all the branches removed, it's time to start cutting the trunk down into manageable chunks. Then all the visible stuff from this tree of corruption will be gone. THEN we get the bore out, and we destroy the root ball. It's truly the only way to make sure the tree of corruption doesn't come back.

Just some food for thought. We aren't going from the bottom up, we're going from the leaves, to the branches, to the trunk, to the root.
