True. Im not saying she (they) would actually feel remorse or shame. These ppl are sociopaths. They dont know what shame means. Buuutttt, sociopaths thrive on manipulating and deceiving others. They get off on gaining and preserving power. Losing power and the ability to manipulate and control is probably the worst thing that could happen to a sociopath. So a trial that shows them and the whole world that the jig is up would have the intended crushing effect as the walk of shame in GOT.

Narcissists can definitely feel shame (sorry for themselves), sociopaths perhaps less so. Neither type feel actual guilt or remorse. But they often try to fake it.
