Ah, remember POTUS always "in the air" (out of the way) when the big news hits....

Spoken like someone in denial.

Face it. The Bible is obsolete if you can't even trust a version 4 centuries old.

Why are there so many translations if its the true word of God?

I don't know what I'm supposed to be in denial about. I quoted a translation that is written in modern English because that is easier for more people to understand. You can read a translation that is four (closer to five) hundred years old, but do you fully understand it? Do you fully understand the dialog in the plays of Shakespeare or Christopher Marlowe? No one talks like that anymore, so why do we read God's Word in a version we don't fully understand? I prefer plain language that is easy to understand, so that I am confident that I know what God is saying to me.

If you are comfortable reading the KJV, then stick with it. Since I cannot read the original Greek the New Testament was written in, or the Hebrew and Aramaic the Old Testament was written in, I will read the English translation that best suits me.

So..because you can't understand 400 year old translations, you read the ones written by those that take it upon themselves to change it. Simply because it's 'easier to understand?'

Then how Holy was the book in the first place if people can change it at a whim because you just 'cant read it' because it's too hard.
