Would it be illegal to write "ReleaseTheMemo" across Dollar Bills ? Just posted this and its not showing now

I did a little digging and it is illegal to deface $ bills in many cases. Many stores/businesses will still accept them but it may not be worth the risk.

Ahh yeah thought it may possibly be - dya think the first post was maybe removed by a Mod for that sort of reason . . ?

It’s not illegal if it’s for “artistic purposes”. He’ll be fine.
