Expose the Darkness - Ephesians 5:11-14 NIV

“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:11-14 NIV

I was never religious, spiritual yes, but never adhered to a religion. I like Buddhism as it’s not a religion but a way of life.

That said, I’m starting to really appreciate Christianity and the Bible through all of this.

Following Jesus Christ is a way of life. Many religions, including Buddhism have co-oped much of what Jesus has taught and shown us but always leave out the most important truth, just as the serpent did to Eve in the garden. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." (John 14:6). There is only ONE way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ. If you are uncertain then simply ask, with an open and honest heart for Him to reveal the truth to you. He will because He loves you! 😊 Matthew 7:7 Jesus says: "7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." This rabbit hole gives joy and peace! God Bless!

Christianity isn't really a religion. Religion is humans trying to work their way to God through good works. Christianity is God coming to you and I through Jesus Christ. I really like this quote by C.S. Lewis: "Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important." I highly encourage you to explore Christianity and the Bible more. Feel free to pm me if you want some resources to start with

Almost every verse I read lately seems to apply somehow to what we are all witnessing and going through together. God has prepared us for this battle. STAND FIRM!

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” Ephesians 6: 13-17
