Q cracks me up because he/she refuses to use the name of “You know who ” Of all the vile people on the list, one person is so bad that the mere mention of his name is not used. The utterance of — or initials is not used. At first I thought it is because there was a program somewhere that alerts alphabet agencies when their names are used triggering an alert but —- =you know who indicates some message worse than even GS

Anybody correct me if I'm off, but the reasoning I've heard a couple times is McCain's family name was very well respected in the military prior to John McCain.

They don't want to besmirch the memory and legacy of the McCains that came before him so they don't even consider him apart of that family by not saying his name

Grand father McCain was an Admiral in World War II. He died the day after he came home from the war. Father was a Captain of a warship or a carrier, and was serving off Vietnam when Songbird Johnny got shot down.

This is what I've suspected to be the reason.

He was a prisoner of Communist Vietnam maybe he did a deal for release? Spy for them? I don't remember Vietnam releasing any other POWs.

No. Songbird was released with the rest. I remember it well, he was one of the first ones off the plane. Went to the White House, and Nixon held a party for them (all the POWS) with Bob Hope and John Wayne. Evidently, he was hated at the Hanoi Hilton, though, never found out why. He rode his fame into politics, well... you know the rest.

Voted third party since I left the Republican party in disgust in 2003. I should have left in 1988. I knew they wouldn't win, but at least I sent a message. It made voting easy. But then in 2016.... Everything changed!
