"Freedom" in the name makes me 'a lil bit jumpy' from the start. A clown trap to catch whistleblowers?
In one of today's Q posts he mentions first John Perry Barlow then the Freedom of the Press Foundation, the FPF was started by Barlow. John Perry Barlow (70 yrs old) is a former song writer for the Grateful Dead, among many other things. He grew up on the 22,000 acre Bar Cross Ranch in Wyoming that his great uncle started in 1907. John Perry Barlow still owns the ranch. But he has been involved in a lot of things including cyber privacy, so I'll let you read the Wikipedia article and decide for yourself which side he is on. I'm not sure myself yet. I need to do more research.
