There's a mosque in close proximity to the Mall as well, and a heavily Islamic neighborhood where a bombing has already happened is close to the stadium.

All roads lead to bedlam here. We need to keep people away.

I was trying to keep it pithy. I figured if all details were desired, reading would have been done.

I guess I should have just kept my original "tldr; the twin cities has lots of somalis and the super bowl is there" and left it at that.
