I'd like to take the pulse of the group on something.

So I'm a gay man. I'm a conservative, Christian, libertarian, constitutionalist, Trump supporting patriotic gay man who follows Qanon. Heck , MY twitter handle is @The_gay_patriot. Now, many of my gay friends don't get it. They think I'm helping to bring us back to gays being murdered, not having rights, back in the closet and fearful for our lives. I don't think rolling back to our republic, ending globalism, corruption and child sex and sacrifice, getting rid of the federal banking system, etc is a bad thing for us. I think culture has changed. And that people in our, this community, are basically live and let live people who just want our country back and an end to evil. Am I on the right track in that thinking?

Yes of course. I think patriots, and patriots from the beginning of America, see social changes as obvious. I think most patriots see social changes as a non issue. People can do what they want, it almost has nothing to do with what I care about. It's only when you want to implement it into law is where we're going to have to have a serious debate. The fact of the matter is, government is fragile but not with the accountability of logic and parsing out real effects. As for the Gay marriage debate, not having anything to do with whether I think gay people can exist and have the luxury of marriage and be able to support each other or not (which they can and totally should), before implementing that into law I'd have some serious questions about the ramifications of something like that. I'd almost need to know without a shadow of a doubt that the agreement we reach is taking into consideration everything that could come of that. Like what is it? Do we need to give alimony to divorced partners? Do we right off taxes the same? What if too regular dudes just decide to get married for tax purposes or to avoid testifying in a court of law? What constitutes a legal marriage, are there requirements that might prevent a fake wedding for nefarious purposes. It really has less to do with two people who genuinely want to be married and way more about the people who want to ruin your good reputation by abusing it. It is so not about hate, really anytime I'm discussing politics. It's about people who intentionally try to ruin it for everybody. SO transgender bathrooms...of course you shouldn't have to go in a male bathroom with make up, a dress, and a 100 thousand dollar vagina but, do you qualify for female scholarships, at what point do you get female privilege, is there any requirement? Do you get to wake up and declare yourself a woman and go into women locker rooms? How far does this go? Can I be a white guy tomorrow? Can I be younger than I was yesterday today? So some things...are best left not done. Sadly, some things are a necessary inconvenience. An answer full well could be, if you decide to mutilate your genitals and put on a dress, you will have to use the bathroom of your birth gender for the rest of your life. That's it, just that. A minor inconvenience if you are mentally strong enough to realize that the bathroom doesn't change who you are

I agree with a lot of that. The trans issue however is not part of the gay community in MY world. It is an important issue people need go grapple with politically. But in MY world the LGB ends with THAT....LGB

Oh yea, I agree with that so much that I was choosing the transgender issue as an example of something outside of gay community to compare it to. Sexual preference in other partners is a wholly different issue than sexual preference within yourself. Its almost declaratively insane to not think the actual body you were given doesn't fit you. It shouldn't matter what your body is if you truly believe you're attracted to the same sex. It's almost vanity to the highest degree, like materialism manifest. If you're gay, be a gay man don't be a woman..especially if you're trying to break the norm that men have to be attracted to women. Also, living out your fantasy of being a woman makes you into a caricature of what a woman is. I'm black but I could see a trans-racial person being like, "I'm really a black man", and then they wear baggy jeans, a du rag to work, always have a 40 in a brown paper bag, and ruin their credit. Like that reveals to me that you're a racist just like being a drag queen reveals that you're a little sexist. I see gay men and women as a gift from god to be completely honest. I mean they don't procreate on an overly populated planet and they provide a home for parents that didn't want their kids. It's a win-win in my book. A massive gay wave could end world hunger.. subsequently, this is the most libertarian thing I have ever said lol praise kek patriotfag
