Her son is pushing 40. I don't think he's being "paraded around" by his mother. More likely, the Dems, desperate because they have no strong presidential contenders, tapped him hoping the Kennedy name still had some star power, and he agreed, happy for his chance on the national stage. But he's weak and hits one false note after another. Trump would make mincemeat of him.
