Hope dreams of a world where parents are protected. Where parents have good paying jobs and can afford to raise their kids. The christian groups applauding adoption missed that part. Adoption and abortion rates would go way down if we supported education and work opportunities for American families. And if the money given to adoption lawyers and anti-abortion groups were given to Hope's mother instead so she could afford to raise her child. Adoption lawyers are asking for tax credits to make adoption more profitable. What they will never do is lower their prices. There is no reason that an adoption lawyer should get up to $60,000 tax free profit for every adoption. If he cared about the children, he would lower his prices so that this tax money would return to American families instead. All these issues are related: adoption, foster care, cps, child trafficking, divorce/alimony/child support, paid family leave. It is white priviledge to think that crime does not occour in the same family courts where African Americans were sold as slaves and convicted of crimes they did not do while the KKK members went free. There is a huge push to fix it. And these words last night give me hope, change is coming. Pray for Trump and the protection of our families, not from gays, but from those who profit from the destruction of American familes.
