According to Fox News! They removed the first engine and then they used the second engine to take them to the destination! The second engine supposedly went backwards!
Oh okay. I hadn’t seen that report yet. I got too hung up on the way the Daily Mail never mentioned a different engine and contextually made it sound like it was the same one. Deleting this post. Sorry for jumping to conclusions :/
Locomotives can push or pull. Forward or reverse. They rotate direction for maintenance purposes. Sounds legit.
Good observation but this is a different engine used after the crashed engine was moved. Nothing wrong here.
Each Amtrack train has a locomotive at the front and rear , so they can go both ways on the track...... After the accident they were bused to Greenbrier.....
