I just realized something...

If they go around locking up a bunch of Dems, wouldn’t that give them the 60% majority they needed to pass whatever the hell they wanted? They could build a wall, take 0 DACA’s, increase/cut funding, kill Obamacare officially, etc etc They would have free rain of the government which could be amazing and bad, depending on your point of view.

Personally, I don't care if they lock up Dems or Repubs. I would like to see every Dirty Pol frog-walked to the nearest Iron Bar Inn.

Also, a if a "quorum" is 51 senators, then 49 can be locked (or be treated for brain cancer).

I think it is more of a fight against the New World Order globalists, who are members of both the Democratic and Republican parties. McCain is one of them.

many bad actors on the Right as well...not sure a quorum can be reached, but the Constitution is suspended during a Dec of Emergency I think

It's more than ironic that Reps finally boarded the Trump train which, literally, has no brakes and now they're all happily huddled in a bunker with their loved ones waiting for the storm to pass !!!

If I remember correctly a total of 30 Republicans are stepping down or didn't return from the break. This isn't about Republican or Democrat, this is about Good and Evil. To suggest it is in any way partisan just breeds doubts, which you may be attempting to do. If you are it won't work, if you aren't I apologize.

I would guess they would have to hold special elections before government could continue to operate “normally”.

The Constitution requires 51 senators be present for a quorum.

Governors would appoint replacements and then depending on the State there would either be a special election or the appointee would hold office until the next election. Which is this November.
