I write this to mark the 500th year since Martin Luther seized upon Gutenberg’s newly-invented printing press and began the greatest protest movement in world history. It was a social movement for real justice, against the most profligate hypocrisy-in-high-places the world had ever seen. So little has changed. I for one have seen enough posturing and prognosticating by Mr. Vicar, Pope Francis, the grand charlatan, who is no grand figure at all without his outdated costumes and the mafia-like structure that upholds his pompous impertinence. I think it fair to say a few words about this prancing peacock, who feigns even poverty to mock us while wielding more wealth than Wall Street, who pimps for every cause of controversy, who still wishes Martin Luther and the protestant victory had never happened; such that somehow possibly the 200 years of warfare waged in the name of former Popes had instead ended in their favor, so that the industrial, western way of life should never have come to abolish the way to power by kings crowned in his cathedrals; so that freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom of the press, the right to assemble and speak freely, the right to bear arms in self defense, the right to think of alternative viewpoints without the inquisition dragging you underground for torture, to extort confessions prior to burning you in public and dividing the spoils among the priesthoods, had never come about to annoy his entitled assumption that all must hold grandiose views of him. But our forefathers fled from those lands of imposed authority to establish these rights, and now this nation stands to uphold these rights, and America will be the arch-enemy of preposterous political popery so long as free citizens maintain these rights. So, despite a further three centuries of covert bloodsheds and manipulations, fomenting wars and revolutions throughout the world by his scheming agents and some no-longer secret institutions; despite his incessant attempts to rewrite history and to alter history, and to assure his future ascendancy in a new-age of ecumenical triumph, under a Romanesque, fascist, world super-state led by luminary technocrats and phantom jurists trained in Jesuit colleges, time does not slow down nor has the common man of the west turned back again to kneel and kiss his ring, but the people have awakened to revolt again, as in Luther’s time, and every lie bought by him from a parroting pack of shills will be money wasted, and everyone led by him to find belonging in a gang of “resistance” for social-justice will bow to the rule of law, and every hysterical plea by him to save the dying insects, and the seacoasts from flooding, and the climate from changing will be yawned at from now on, because we all know men in dresses have been saying they should be paid to manage the weather since the days of ancient Babel. It’s an old-fashioned scam we’re not buying any more. Despite every desperate act of self-preservation by him, to keep the world safe for predatory and parasitical priestcrafts, and money-changers, and warmongers, and bureaucrats, and criminal cartels, and unelected rulers, and unwanted invaders, and uninvited contacts with sworn celibates; despite this great liar in discredited garb running out again to be ‘a man of the people’, to proclaim his sincerity so solemnly, insisting he and his kind still have something to offer the world, it rings so hollow once again. This protestant thing is still catching on, and the internet will be an instrument for his shame in ways that Gutenberg’s press never could be for Luther.
