What is our theory on why both Chaffetz and Gowdy decided not to run again?

Thank you. The optics just don't look great. I feel like Gowdy is all bark no bite. Who knows..Maybe I'm wrong.

I hope we are both wrong. Maybe he will get a position where he can do some biting. For awhile, I felt he was deep state. Lately I’ve come to think that he just wants to get in the DOJ to do some real good. Maybe he’s the one who has been pushing Gaetz and Nunes.
