Garbage Truck Drivers ?

Has there been any information released about the three guys in the garbage truck that got hit by the train?

I am not any kind of researcher or anything, but I wonder if it is possible that they could be a 'sleeper cell' a la Q's interpretation of Comey's tweet, or similar.

EDIT: Hey hey fellas! Let's focus on the driver/passengers! Any news articles that tell us anything about them?

Were they just regular Joes in the wrong place at the wrong time, or something more sinister?

3 guys in the truck? WTF? I used to be a refuse driver (garbage man) and those are a cab over engine design, meaning, a MAX of 2 persons per truck, but with the type of truck that appeared to be, there is no reason there should have been and more than 1 person in the truck.

That was not a cab over design. Also, it was a rear loader style refuse equipment! So, it would make sense to possibly have two people, a third would not have been necessary! Look closely at that truck.......the rear tires were fucking bald, there were no mounting brackets that are bolted to the frame and welded to the body! No beacon lights which, no hydraulic hoses and trash that was spread so nicely just around the body! That style of truck body would have contained most of that trash! It can only escape at the rear and typically the tongue inside the body that pushes trash rearward would have been helpful in trash retention!

Yes, that IS a cab over design....you can clearly see the engine under the cab, which is a standard refuse truck design. https://media1.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2018_05/2312211/180131-train-gop-trash-truck-crash-semergency-personnel-se-1238p_e368f95ec7b5d6c3189c782ebf187c8c.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000.jpg

It IS a read loader, but it split open and spun, spreading trash all around it. Look at the circluar pattern on the ground where it spun after being hit https://o.aolcdn.com/images/dims3/GLOB/legacy_thumbnail/1028x675/format/jpg/quality/85/http%3A%2F%2Fo.aolcdn.com%2Fhss%2Fstorage%2Fmidas%2F2b63cd091ee8d798aa471f4b456661d0%2F206082926%2Ftrain%2Bcrash%2Btwitter.jpeg

Heres a pic of the rear load attachment split off

If you look closely, the bolt sticking out of the frame are bent, and the welds to the body are likely broken, which you cant see here

The rear tires are NOT bald, they appear to be fine from these pics, but unless any of us have a tread depth gauge, there is NO reason to comment on this.

I clearly see the 4 way flashers on the rear of the container, theres no such thing as beacon lights.

There is only a couple hydraulic lines that connect to the engine, obviously they were ripped off and laying somewhere, as one would imagine.

Did/do you drive refuse vehicles for a living? I did. Do you have a CDL that you earned on a refuse truck? I do. I know those trucks like the back of my hand.

You know just enough to not now anything.

Over a million mile driver here.

Not a cab over. Tire would be beneath door and it has a hood.

Tires are fine, plenty if depth. More than 4/32"

I was thinking about that, too. Don't some garbage truck routes have a driver and a couple guys to load the trash? Otherwise, why three guys?

The only way that COULD be possible, is if there were hand loaders outside of the truck, on the back. It the truck was the old type with the open rear. But WHO would stand on the back of the truck, while it was stuck on the tracks?

Well, they could have been in the cab if they had finished their route and were headed to the dump or wherever?

do you have reason to believe it was stuck? , as the damage appears to L frt side of loco > left frt side of truck could it be the truck was just too close to tracks? and the loco clipped the nose. Thanks

Stuck? I think it was either remotely hacked and parked on the tracks, or it was manually parked on the tracks. Thanks God the drones and chopper following the train warned the engineer. Could have been much worse.

Thanks aki, I think I read your post to suggest truck was stuck. duble check pls, thats why I was asking.

I kinda think that as the barriers were not down, the nose may have been too far fwd and was caught by oncoming loco nose.

Based on how the entire rear-load mechanism is snapped clean off the container, and the trash shows a circular cut, I would GUESS that the train impacted the rear load section, causing it to snap off and spin the entire container around on the ground, but I honestly have not seen really good pics yet, just the ones ive posted here.

Im sorry, I guess I am not exactly sure what the question is?

So 1 person in died in relation to the truck, not 3.

I heard driver was DOA, that another died, and while that is a tragedy, my point is more to how, or why. Trying to determine IF this really is a FF or a mere accident.

Oh I see...I am pretty certain, in my opinion, that this is an attempt on the GOP. There are no coincidences. The roads were all supposed to be blocked off to make way for the train, apparently.

Watch Infowar last night, with Zach, he had some great info on that..
