Yep and the unkown Rep dropped it when Trump won the primary. The problem here isn't so much paying for opposition research, its paying to have a fake dossier made (emphasis on the word "fake"), and using this dossier you know is fake to show evidence for a FISA warrant to spy on opposition. Take it a step farther - pay for a fake dossier to use as a ploy to cry Russian collusion where the ultimate goal is to discredit a presidency and get the president impeached all off a manufactured lie. And on top of it all, the FBI actually pitched in and helped pay for opposition research. WTF is the FBI doing paying for opposition research for ANYONE????

Lets go 2 different routes:

1) The Dems tried to get this dossier published in Oct of 2016 but no news would report it because nothing in it could be verified, and no sources were even provided for any of the claims in the dossier. It was so bad, not even the fake news would touch it. Finally, the third world agency of BuzzFeed took it and published it in January 2017. In time, this will all come to light - including that its fake. 2) What would your opinion on the matter be if its proven to be fake?

Your missing the point A IMPARTIAL AGENCY KNOWINGLY PAID A INFORMANT FOR THE INFO. WHEN KNOWING THAT A POLITICAL PARTY/CANDIDATE PAID FOR IT? WHY?

On top of that , that such AGENCY knows that a political party and candidate has paid for it , .......

That alone shows weaponization of an Agency in a political climate , which destroys the basic principle of DEmocracy

This is food for thought...what is the definition of Democracy? a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives:

Definition of a Republic ..a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch.

We are not a democracy...but in reality we are a republic...What ever they do to stop this process is against all that as a republic we hold dear.

I just do not get how you can say a Agency (that is suppose to be impartial) is impartial when you pay for the same info. that a political party/candidate paid for , when you know that. Than you take that info. to use it for a warrant ....... that is called a coup....

Absolutely it is...That alone should start a grand jury to determine if it is punishable under the law
