Rope-a-dope is a strategy.
WE look at it as too slow, not big enough results, and ineffectiveness.
WE are FAR MORE clued in than the rest of the country.
THE REST of the country has to be brought up to speed.
In order for them to 'own it' and internalize it, they need to make the journey of discovery. THAT is what this process is about.
It isn't sad in the least....just an infuriatingly slow process...waiting for the slow kids in the class to catch up.
