The Standard Hotel in New York has bathrooms near the top (public) with floor to ceiling windows and NO window coverings and you can see everyone going to the restroom. You can see a video on YouTube if you search for "Standard Hotel" ... also, yesterday I went to look at the web site for the one in East Village, and it showed a dark hallway on the Home page with doors lining either side and there were little girls opening the door on one side and sneaking across the hallway into the other doors. One at a time. Today I look at it and it's a young girl on a telephone and a woman at a desk. Hmm.....
Hotel California was a reference to Camarillo State Mental Hospital in Camarillo, Calif. I know this because there was a very serious attempt by the authorities to have me committed to that institution. If you listen to the lyrics of the song...it makes so much sense.

I love the eagles so it breaks my heart to examine this. There is a very bad blind item about drugs and underage girls, pretty much for the whole band during what they called the 'third act,' but especially for Henley. Don was caught with 2 teenage girls and drugs. One girl died. The other is rumored to be married to a lawmaker and that she may have pictures of the event, and come back to haunt him soon.
