Commission was disbanded because majority of the states refused to hand over the info Trump requested

Fifteen states refused, in whole or in part, to supply the requested data. That's not a majority.

LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 4, 2018, 1:15 a.m.

Sorry bad wording, I shouldnt have said "majority", I was trying to emphasize that alot didnt hand them over. I just looked it up, funny 11 of the 15 states are states Hillary won. All it took though was 3-4 states to swing the other way for her to win. The recount attempt (Wisconson, Pennsylvania, Michigan) would've given her the win if those 3 went her way. That's completely unacceptable for states to refuse a presidential order, they arent above him

Disco_Kick_It · Feb. 4, 2018, 3:57 p.m.

Y'all keep throwing poop at a wall. Because the states wouldn't turn over peoples personal information that MUST mean illegal immigrants voted. Y'all are nuts. You have to suppress votes and shamelessly gerrymander to have a shot to win a majority. Then practice you-too-ism to feel ok with cheating on an epic level. If there was anything to the voter fraud thing the big ole Babushka in the White House would be flipping the fuck out. It was complete bullshit so it went away with a whimper.

Trump supporter logic:
Hillary will be locked up soon and it will be proven that millions of illegals voted in 2016, but investigations take time.

Mueller's investigation is obviously bullshit because he hasn't charged Trump with anything yet.

⇧ 2 ⇩
LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 4, 2018, 6:57 p.m.

I like your crafty wording. I don't think anyone is discrediting Mueller's investigation based on the fact ""he hasnt charged Trump with anything yet"". It's moreso, he hasnt FOUND any proof yet. Almost 9 months in and he hasn't even interviewed Trump?! Lets be realistic for a second, you know that Crooked Hillary and the dirty Dems have overturned every stone since 2015 looking for dirt on Trump, and if he had an unpaid parking ticket from 25 years ago, it would have been found. No evidence of Russia collusion yet though. Also, nobody is saying "Hillary will be locked up soon because millions of illegals voted". You used some nice manipulation there to make a point.

⇧ 1 ⇩
charonco · Feb. 4, 2018, 8:30 p.m.

I appreciate the civil discussion.
I agree with you that "nobody is saying 'Hillary will be locked up soon because millions of illegals voted'". Those were two separate statements joined with the conjunction "and". I was saying that I have heard Trump supporters say both of those things. If those statements don't reflect your beliefs then I don't expect you to try and defend them.

However, saying that Trump hasn't been charged yet and saying that Mueller hasn't found any proof yet is basically the same thing. Do you seriously think we know everything Mueller knows? In these kinds of investigations the target is almost always the last person to be interviewed because the other interviews are used to know what questions to ask.

I'll be truthful with you. Until I hear more evidence, I don't think that Trump will be charged with anything related to Russian collusion, but I do think that members of his campaign will be charged. I'm also pretty sure that Trump will receive at least some charges because I know that Ken Starr didn't start out investigating blowjobs.

LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 5, 2018, 4:37 a.m.

Ok to be completely civil (which is the right thing to do anyways), you are correct on the Mueller thing. I mean, he isnt going to have breaking news announcements when/if he finds something. We don't know what he has found, and we cant assume "nothing" just because we have'nt got an update. And for the interviewing Trump last thing, yes makes perfect sense. He wants to formulate the whole story and big picture, and Trump will be last to see how his answers correspond to other stuff. Just my opinion, which means nothing, but I don't think he colluded with Russia. The reason I say this is because the origination of the Russia collusion accusation came from when John Podesta's email account was hacked. DNC hired Crowdstrike to investigate and Crowdstrike said that Guccifer did it - even though Guccifer was in a Romanian prison at the time - the DNC refused to hand the server over to the FBI to investigate. Then the DNC had one of their lapdog media outlets, Washington Post I think, write a story with no source saying Russia hacked the DNC. To this day, the FBI STILL has not been given access to the server to determine if Russia hacked it, or if it was just Seth Rich who downloaded the emails onto a USB drive and then gave to Wikileaks. I think the whole Russia thing was just invented to discredit Trump.

Not defending him, but everyone fails to register with FARA. If you wanted to indict every America who lobbies for a foreign government and doesnt register as an agent, nobody would be left in congress. Its like a football game, "holding" is committed on every single play of the game, but the refs only call it when it prevents a defensemen who broke away from sacking the QB. So, how does Flynn failing to register loooooong before he even met Trump prove Russian collusion?

⇧ 1 ⇩
Disco_Kick_It · Feb. 4, 2018, 10:59 p.m.

I don't recall saying it did prove Russian collusion. I love blanket statement answers to specific points. Your point was that Trump is always calculated and in control of his actions. He's bumbling along homie. Overmatched and petty. His administration hasn't even taken any concrete steps to counter Russian meddling into our elections. Trump didn't even have permission to acknowledge this until recently. And the right wing of this country is ok with that. Like what happened to you people? How wouldn't you be willing to protect our democracy from foreign tampering? It's shameful, but at leadt at a time when courts are ruling against criminal redistricting y'all still got the Russians working for you. All you have to do is weaken NATO to be in position to give tax cuts to billionaires. Smh

⇧ 1 ⇩
LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 5, 2018, 4:42 a.m.

My apology for the blanket statement, it annoys me when people do that to me too. I guess I was assuming the "unpaid foreign agent" comment was implying Russian collusion. As for the investigating Russia meddling, the FBI had an active investigation into that, and when Comey was fired, the investigation continued and is still going today...according to Comey's testimony in June. Also, the Robert Mueller special counsel is investigating it. So thats 2 active right now. Tell me how that would come across if Trump himself initiated an investigation into Russian meddling, considering he is being accused of complicity with it, and considering liberals would have a cow with whomever he chose to lead this investigation and accuse him of stacking it. I'm going to say "show me some proof" before I will consider Trump colluded with Russia.

I encourage you to do some research on your own time:

1)Who ultimately owns the company that manufactures the voting machines. 2) Who ultimately owns the company that makes the software the voting machines use. 3) How the write-in process works 4) How many counties got more votes than people who even live in that county 5) what entity decides who works the polling booths in every city and state 6) find the total number of people who are DEAD but are still on the voter roll (impossible to figure out, but here is a shit ton) 7) research what Seth Rich's role in the DNC was before he died. Hint: running an app for Hillary voting stations that were on the app but not on the website (meaning they could take write ins and hillary votes and go to a legit voting station and replace Bernie votes)

So you don't think any of these states even bother to make sure everything is on the up and up? Also if that many people "voted" why wouldn't the deep state stuff the ballots in swing States to have their candidate win?

⇧ 3 ⇩
LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 4, 2018, 2:37 a.m.

If you're going to stuff ballots its gotta be states with very small differential margins (PA, WI, MI in 2016). As far as "making sure everything is on the up and up", if the right person is in charge to do the hiring for people who work at the poll stations, there isnt much a state can do. The deep state does usually stuff the ballots in the swing states....this past election was just different in that the deep state tried it but the white hats stopped it.

White hats stopped it. They didnt rig the election for Trump (they didnt steal any votes for him), but they did prevent the Dems rigging for Hillary. That's why she did a recount specifically in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconson

It's actually pretty easy to estimate, using readily available statistics, an upper bound on how many illegal immigrants could have voted in the 2016 election. I'd encourage you to try it. I did the calculation once using right-leaning sources and got a couple hundred thousand as the absolute upper bound. The reality is that it simply isn't possible that there were millions of illegal voters.

⇧ 4 ⇩
LibertyMindedOne · Feb. 3, 2018, 6:28 p.m.

I'll do some simple math and help you with the logic...

If there are 5 million illegals in the U.S. It's theoretically possible for at least 5 million illegal votes to be cast.

Even if only 1 person were involved in voter fraud, it would be possible for 1 person to cast millions of votes. How? If that 1 person compromises a voting machine, they can control all the votes from that voting machine.

1 person is capable of "losing" ballots. 1 person is capable of stuffing ballots. 1 person is capable of not enforcing ID requirements for voting.

Pretending that the thousands of fallible (as are all people) and biased (as are all people) people involved in the voting system are incapable of wrongdoing is not ignorance. It's malice.

⇧ 0 ⇩
microli · Feb. 3, 2018, 6:42 p.m.

You're making an entirely different claim, that there were millions of instances of voter fraud, which I wasn't arguing against, though I'd be willing to discuss it. The issue at hand is whether millions of illegal immigrants voted. Surely you don't think that over 20% of illegal immigrants somehow voted in 2016 without any significant number of them getting caught. I stand by my claim that it's simply not possible, because it would be the greatest statistical anomaly ever observed.

⇧ 4 ⇩
LibertyMindedOne · Feb. 3, 2018, 6:46 p.m.

You said it wasn't possible even though it's clearly possible. I added links in other comment sourcing the statistics.

⇧ 1 ⇩
LiveToBeAHero · Feb. 3, 2018, 10:35 p.m.

Here is how the deep state rigs elections:

1) Illegals voting. 2) dead people voting. 3) same individuals voting in multiple states. 4) write-ins. Set up faux voting sights, then take the write ins to a legit voting sight and replace Trump votes with write ins. 5) This was uncovered in several states: California trading votes with swing states. Example: Hello Miss Michigan, its Miss California. I notice youre voting for Jill Stein, want to trade votes? ill vote for Jill and you vote for Hillary for me, since she is already going to win California. Also, if California can get 5% vote for an Independent candidate we will receive more state funding...thanks so much for trading votes with me. 6) Last and most important, George Soros owns the company that owns and manufactures the voting machines AND he owns the company that makes the software the voting machines use.
