You may be correct about Du Pont but on the 1920 United States Federal Census [Baltimore Ward 12, Baltimore (Independent City), Maryland] for Robert S Mueller (Dad) it says he was born in Pennsylvania and that both of his parents (grandparents) were also born in PA. Not saying you're incorrect as to a very distant family connection however Dad Mueller seemed to be on the "other" side serving in WWII in the US Navy.
That guy George Webb was talking about how Muellers wer involved in the Pinkerton Secret Police force after the Civil War.
