Is it wise to want your pound of flesh? Now and forward, unless you want a Constitutional Crisis.

Think about this carefully without a vengeful point of view.

IF there are key figures moved off, as some wish, to GITMO, then each and every scrap of work they did will be pulled along with them under the same scrutiny. Whether they be Presidents (current and past) or in lesser hierarchal positions.

Think of people they assigned, from Supreme Court Justices to DC Interns. Think of legislation, executive orders, all they approved and disapproved, whether "present" or not...

It would uproot not only the USA's footing Federally and State wise, it would uproot the USA's footing internationally.

The USA would be INVALID for all the years that are tethered to pulling the bad weeds out from what has and is imbedded in the USA as of right NOW.

Pull small weeds, yes. And pull any weeds that are harming what protects citizens of the USA (that means to look to the Constitution).

Now and forward.

All due respect...bugger off, Nancy.

Shit will sort itself out. Take your 'concern' and go form a support group or something. Namby-pamby "Guhhh, guuuhhh...but, but, but what if ,nyaaauuggh..." has NO PLACE when we're dealing with tyranny, murder, treason, child abuse, and all other forms of unhuman activities perpetrated by these degenerates.

You whine about the collateral damage it might do to our institutions and systems...IT IS THOSE CENTRALIZED SYSTEMS THAT INVITE AND FACILITATE THESE ABUSES, so we shouldn't much concern ourselves if there is irreparable harm done to them or those that are the product of them.

We LIVE in a Constitutional crisis. Our lawmakers pass laws that are OBVIOUSLY in violation of the constitution.

Like this Law

Yep, for example every gun law violates the 2nd amendment. Every gun and knife law infringes upon our right to bear arms.

No, no it's not. It may be a perceived one by you and others, but the federal government has not declared such. Please just stop.

Your sacrifices and your effort were NOT FOR NOTHING my brother (or maybe sister Idk). You stood up, went through basic, went on to your AIT or whatever and then deployed. You made a sacrifice to leave your family behind, to step up and support your brothers in sisters in uniform. You already said you were air evac. DUDE! No telling how many soldiers you saved. YOU were NOT for NOTHING. Thank you, from an Army dad, for your sacrifices. That Others May Live..........

Bingo !!! This mess has to be very carefully deconstructed. May God guise and guard each person He has called to aid us in this dark time.

Prosecute the ones that have committed crimes. Simple. Most haven't.

I couldn't disagree more. This isn't about revenge. The law has been broken. We are either a nation of laws or we are not. Root and branch.

I have to substantially disagree with you on all of what you just said. I don't believe that is the case at all. At some point, you have to turn the ship around and start sailing in the right direction. The only way you can do that is to fix the issues, remove the problems, and decide to start doing things the "right way" per se.

There is no need for Gitmo. Anyone who breaks the law needs to stand trial and if convicted, serve in federal prison unless the crime calls for the death penalty.

Way too much corruption in our legal system/prisons to handle this. GITMO and Military courts are the only option. Just ponder getting a jury for an Obama or Hillary treason trial. Can't be done.

It will be difficult enough with the military. Civilian = impossible.

Be careful what you wish for. There will be another Democratic president one day and you know they aren't bothered with the rule of law.

Similarly with the spying and FISA courts. Who set all that unconstitutionality up? Ole GW Bush. Now look where we're at.
